For the last 31 years, Rotary Club of Ballygunge, of Rotary International District 3291, has been undertaking various humanitarian projects for the under-privileged in and around Kolkata.
These include free health check up camps, IOL implants, supporting physically and mentally challenged children and donating artificial limbs to the disabled.
R.C. Ballygunge has also donated books for school libraries, started science laboratories in different schools, created awareness about child labour & abuse and other social atrocities, malaria, dengue, AIDS and Polio eradication.
